PREVALENCE OF SENSITIZATION TO AIRBORNE ALLERGENS IN PATIENTS WITH ALLERGIC RHINITIS AND ASTHMA IN UKRAINE

Background. The distribution of sensitization among children and adolescence with allergic rhinitis (AR) asthma their impact on various symptoms have been analyzed.
 Aim: investigate the AR Ukrainian population.
 Material methods. study involved 280 aged 2–18 years. They were tested for sIgE most common allergens Ukrainians - Dermatophagoides pteronyssinus, farinae, dog, cat, cockroach, birch (t03, Bet v1, v2, v4), plane tree, timothy (g06, Phl p1, , p6, p7, p12), ragweed, mugwort Alternaria. Measurements performed by Western blotting according to manufacturer's protocol (Simesta-Medivis, Ukraine-Germany).
 Results. Among sensitized subjects, 165 sensitive pollen allergens, was positive in 64 subjects (22.5%), ‒ 65 (25.4%), ragweed 110 (42.5%), 69 (24.6%), tree 12 (5%). Positive feline allergen found 114 (43.3%), dogs 77 (32.1%), pteronyssinus 66 farinae 32 (12%), Alternaria 38 (15 %), cockroaches 25 (10%).
 Conclusions. Sensitization airborne is significantly associated AR. important inhalant consist pollens (trees, grasses, weeds), house dust mites, molds animal dander. allergy spread.
